He has recently completed a book of landscape photographs of Mull, Iona and Staffa which is due for publication by Frances Lincoln later in 2010.
The photographs cover the more remote and lesser known parts of these islands. Ardmeanach peninsula on Mull, St. Columba's Bay on Iona and the Great Face on Staffa. There are also some unique winter photographs of the high tops of Mull and the caves of Staffa.

Mystical Oman 6th April - 5th May 2010
Malcolm will be holding a major exhibition of landscapes of Oman with Alan Reed, a watercolourist from the North East of England, at Bait Muzna Gallery in Muscat, Oman from 6th April until 5th May.
The Gallery has recently been refurbished to accommodate more work by exhibiting artists. There is a tremendous feeling of space and light in the gallery which can be seen at the website www.baitmuznagallery.com
An introduction to the exhibition on the Bait Muzna website can be found here.
He will be showing about 25 large photographs, which are part of his recent private publication Oman: Eloquence and Eternity. They are of new places that he has discovered in Oman since the publication of his book Wilderness Oman.
Rather than the grand sweeping landscape, they reflect the more mystical elements of desert, mountain and sea. Included are studies of frankincense trees from Dhofar, juniper trees from Al Jabal al Akhdar, canyons and flowing water, caves of Wadi Nakhl inhabited thousands of years ago, the vast dunes deep in the Rub al Khali, and of course the wild, remote cliffs and inlets of Musandam.
Prints will range in size from 20 x 24 inches to 32 x 40 inches.
A resume of Malcolm's photography in Oman can be found on the Bait Muzna website by clicking here.
